A Week of Paul McCartney

This week I'm posting quotes by Paul McCartney, one of the founders and members of The Beatles. Listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most successful musician / composer in popular music history, Paul is also an entrepreneur, film maker, poet, painter, animal rights and vegetarianism activist and actor.

"I definitely did look up to John. We all looked up to John. He was older and he was very much the leader; he was the quickest wit and the smartest" ~ Paul McCartney

The Gift Of Love

"We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it."
~ John Lennon

I Believe

"I believe in everything until it's disproved. So I believe in fairies, the myths, dragons. It all exists, even if it's in your mind. Who's to say that dreams and nightmares aren't as real as the here and now?"
~ John Lennon

Beatlemania ~ A Week Of John Lennon

On Thursday we went to a show down at Harrah's in Atlantic City called Beatlemania. It is a group of musicians reenacting the "Fab Four's" musical journey from the Ed Sullivan Show to their eventual disbandment. The backdrop of a big screen with actual Beatle footage coupled with spot on character performances by the band really sends you back in time.

This week I'm posting quotes by John Lennon. After a self-imposed retirement from 1976-1980, Lennon reemerged with a comeback album, and was murdered one month later in New York City on Dec. 8, 1980. In 2002, respondents to a BBC poll on the 100 Greatest
Britons voted Lennon into eighth place. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked Lennon number 38 on its list of "The Immortals: The Fifty Greatest Artists of All Time" and ranked The Beatles at number 1.

"My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all."
~ John Ono Lennon

A Week Of Gratitude

This week I'm posting quotes on gratitude. So often we fail to count our blessings and take for granted the gifts we have already received. An unthankful attitude is a sure way to stop the flow of abundance into your life.

"There is no better opportunity to receive more than to be thankful for what you already have. Thanksgiving opens up the windows of opportunity for ideas to flow your way."
~ Jim Rohn

The Three Steps

The Three Steps of the "Law of Attraction" Creative Process:

Quotes from "The Secret Teacher"

The Law Of Attraction

This week I decided I'd send out quotes about the "Law Of Attraction". I first became aware of this phenomenon many years ago. I firmly believe that we create our reality largely through our thoughts. The proof of this is backed, not by theory, but by the science of quantum physics. Our thoughts, like everything else, is made of energy. By focusing on what we want, instead of what we don't want, we can turn the non-physical seed of thought to a physical reality. I have many personal experiences that prove this to be true.

"The Law of Attraction attracts to you everything you need, according to the nature of your thought. Your environment and financial condition are the perfect reflection of your habitual thinking. Thought rules the world."
~ Dr. Joseph Murphy

Preparing to Travel

This week I'll be flying out to Colorado and so my topic for the week will be quotes on travel. I'll be taking forty eight original paintings along with me. I've got an appointment with a gallery on Tuesday. I will tell you more details about my trip later. I don't want to jinks myself by talking about it too much ahead of time.
